Our Pastor

Pastor Paul D. Luisi and his family arrived in Watertown in July 1992. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. He interned at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska.

Prior to the ministry Pastor Luisi was a licensed Orthopedic Physician’s Assistant. At the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Resource Management.

From 1971 to 1975 he served as a medic in the United States Air Force.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Pastor Luisi married Mary on February 21, 1976. They are the parents of three children. Amanda is married to Owen Lewis and they are the parents of Rosalyn, Bryn and Laura, who was born November 8, 2011. Anthony is an attorney in White Plains, New York and he and his wife Paloma live in Larchmont. Anna is the vocal music and drama teacher at Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls, New York. She previously taught in Maryland for three years. She is also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Conducting (vocal and instrumental) at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, which will be completed in 2012.

Pastor Luisi enjoys long walks, crossword puzzles, reading and movies. For several years he was active in Community Theater with his daughter Anna.
